Registration with REDcert
As a company, you must register for the REDcert-EU and/or REDcert² scheme at Login/Register in the REDcert registration portal. Once the registered data has been checked, the contract is concluded.
The registration process is complete as soon as the system contract signed by REDcert with the participant number is available.
Selection of a certification body
In addition to register with REDcert, you must select a REDcert approved certification body that will verify your company's compliance with the sustainability criteria based on the REDcert scheme principles.

Annual re-auditing for renewal by the recognized certification body - interim review of changes by the recognized certification body |
Reporting of annual certified quantities to REDcert - transparency for authorities and market participants |
Handling sustainable goods
Once the certificate has been issued by your certification body, you are authorized to purchase, trade and sell sustainable material.
Before purchasing sustainable material, you must check that the supplier has a valid certificate.

Furthermore, you must ensure that the incoming and outgoing delivery documents contain all the necessary information in accordance with the REDcert requirements.
