New terms of use and product seals for the REDcert² scheme

As part of the further development of the REDcert² scheme, REDcert has comprehensively revised the regulations governing the use of the REDcert² trademark, product seals and claims. These amendments take into account the requirements of the EmpCo Directive, which will introduce new guidelines for sustainability labels and sustainability claims from 27 of September 2026.

As part of the ongoing development of the REDcert² scheme, the terms of use have also been revised. At the same time, new product seals and standardized and customised claims have been introduced. These adjustments establish a uniform framework for transparent, traceable and scheme-compliant sustainability reporting throughout the entire value chain.
